Mission Statement:
To inspire people to be free to be creative, to have the confidence to try and to feel the joy in creating.

Greetings!!

The FAS will be closed for the week of August 1st but looking forward to seeing you the following weeks.

Here's what people are saying about FAS:

The minute you walk in the door your creative juices start flowing.  All the elements are there - the light, the space, the shelves full of books and supplies that every artist wants to see.  But most of all every moment you spend there, whether it's painting, dyeing, sewing, printing, or just planning, this FAS is always a heap of fun!!        Angela Kenley

Fabric Arts Studio is a great place!! The facility is bright and spacious, with everything you'd ever need for any fabric art project that you can think of. I am a beginning quilter and Jane is an excellent teacher and is extremely helpful in answering any questions that I have. So far I've quilted one project on her long arm machine and it was a wonderful experience. Jane was right by my side, teaching me all the ins and outs. If you're looking for a place to learn new skills or practice some you already have, FAS is the place!     Susan Wiseman

Your spaces allows me to layout my supplies in such a way to get a lot accomplished.  And I love your double utility sinks – sure beats rinsing out in the bathtub!

Terry Lee

Jane's generous smile and warmth makes anyone visiting her studio for the first time feel so welcomed. She embodies the spirit of creativity that she encourages in others.  My experience creating in her studio has been that if I forgot to bring something from home that I needed to complete a project, I did not have to worry because her studio is so well-supplied with anything an artist might need. "      Jeanette Davis

A fantastic place to get lost in being creative and is a unique addition to our community.  Jane is a wonderful teacher, cheerleader and encouraging friend.  The studio is like a wonderland of treasures - were to look first!!  What can I learn next?       Maxine Bucholtz

Going to the Fiber Arts Studio is like going to Summer Art Camp. What a great and creative way to spend summer days.           Susan  Strickland

I Love FAS - It's my "Fantasy studio!" My creativity can flow, and if I forget a tool, there is surely one there I can borrow. It's a space for creative time alone - no dog, no kids, no interruptions! The Fabric Arts Studio is designed for artists by an artist. Thanks for comng to Grand Junction to support our thriving Art Community.              Sue Van Voorhees

This is a great place to "play".  It is clean and bright and welcoming.  I'm so lucky to be able to use it.   Gjeneve Hopkinson

It's fun to work on projects at FAS because I can work with no interruptions.  The facility has so many tools and group opportunities for working on surface design, fabric dyeing, paper making, collage, screen printing and quilting - you name it.        Jan Rickman
